Dana began his bodywork training at the age of 18 with Touch for Health. That training sparked in him the interest in alternative health techniques that continues to this day. Through his 30+ years of bodywork practice, his modalities have expanded to include different ways to access and affect various systems of the body: Touch for Health, sports massage (AMTA-MI Director of Sports Massage ’90-’92), shiatsu, Neuromuscular Therapy, Somatic Release, full-term pregnancy, and Cocoon (tantric meditation massage).
Introduced to the power of trauma and tension releasing breathwork in 2015 with BBTRS, he has dedicated himself to learn and integrate this new modality into his own life and the lives of his clients with amazing results.
With a tantra background starting in 1991 and personal growth training with the Human Awareness Institute since 1993, Dana continues to look for ways to create harmony and balance in all aspects of his own and other people’s lives. Along with teaching massage, partnered stretch, and personal growth consciousness, he enjoys his artistic expression as a musician, glass blower, photographer, and poi dancer. His intention is to help you live in harmony with yourself, others, and nature.
Dana is available for 1:1 breathwork sessions and to lead small group BBTRS workshops, and he is available for bodywork sessions.
